That's The Ugliest Effing Skirt I've Ever Seen

Oh my God, this is too tragic for words.

Lindsay Lohan to become "artistic advisor" for UNGARO.

That is grosssss. UNGARO is a legendary Parisian couture house. LiLo is.............LiLo. Says La Lohan, "To be in a position where I’m working with a fashion house in Paris sets it apart from every other celebrity brand."

UNGARO is not a celebrity brand! Haute Couture is an ART, not a passing trend. Thousands of hours go into creating one of a kind garments. It is sanctioned by the French Government, for Christ's sake!

Sorry, I get very combative about couture. Don't get me wrong, I actually adore Lindsay in all her f*cked up glory. But this is too much for me to handle.

You Have Like, a Major Braditude Right Now

Gahhh Rachel Zoe I loooove her.
I mean, come on. She's 95lbs, has huge ginormous hair, bigger sunglasses, wears tranny shoes and has like 12 Birkin bags. What's not to love? I wish I could wear the shoes she does. But I'm like 5'9", and homegirl don't need to be boppin' around in 6 inch heels.

Uhm, her and Bethenny from The Realhousewives of NY are having a virtual bitch-fight via Twitter today. How random. And immature. Really ladies, really?

Anyway, I wish her assistant Brad liked girls because
I think he is cah-ute.
Well I can think he's cute even though he's gay. There's nothing wrong with that. I kind of have a crush on the 1987 version of George Michael. But that's another issue for another time.
But let's be honest, I could never date someone with better fashion sense than I do. And boyfriend's got a bangin' wardrobe. Ah well, c'est la vie.

I just love Rachel's style, and how it fluctuates between 60's boho crunchiness, and 70's Studio 54 cocaine goddess. AHHHHH I just figured out what I'm being for Halloween. And her voice absolutely KILLS me. Dead on the floor. Her inflection and tone sound EXACTLY like a girl I'm friends with from back in college.

Can't you just hear her now?
"Tay. Tay. Like, what is happening? Like, I can't even comprehend this insanity-banana-ness. Tay. Fix this. I can't.....even deal with this right now. Tay."

gah J'adore her.

Okay enough about RZoe. Work is slammed. We're supa busy. I still need a big girl job. I watched a great ep of Law & Order SVU tonight and worked out AND did yoga. Go me!

kay peace out lovelies. xoxo

Roll Tide!

I moonlighted as an Alabama football fan this weekend. Bama played VaTech at the Georgia Dome, and the Crimson Tide descended upon our fair city. A's roommate & friends went to Alabama, and several of their sorority sisters and other friends came into town to stay at their apartment.

Friday night was mexican + bars (per usual). A & I met up with a new friend of ours and had some wine at his apartment before headed to the B-Head bars. The bars were slam packed. Sex on Fire came on in Churchill's, and I texted my bff T. "your sex is on fire," and she told me it made her entire night. T is flying down to go to the KoL concert with me Oct. 9th. I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. But I digress.....

After a slight mishap Saturday morning regarding me shacking and my phone not cooperating, there was some drama revolving around a grill needed for the tailgate. But everything got sorted out, and there was just some minor violence. Kidding. We piled in cars and drove to the MARTA station to ride downtown to the GA Dome. Drinking on public transportation is always a great idea. We brought liquor drinks in cups, no joke.

We schlepped our gear down the street to the tailgate park, and HOLY HELL. Alabama football is just on a whole other level than anything I'd experiences before. And I went to a Southern School, y'all. These people are FANS. People calling out "Roll Tide" to strangers on the street. We set up our tailgate and the drinking began. "Bama Bombers" are maraschino cherries soaked in Everclear. Vodka soaked raspberries. I start in too early on the vodka raspberries and was a little touch-and-go at about 2pm. I seriously considered taking a nap in the back of the car, but then realized that was totally lamo and I needed to play like a champion. I chugged 2 bottles of water, took half and Adderol and 2 Aleve and I was ready to rock and roll. I brought my own bottle of wine, so I decided it was a better idea to stick to my own poison. At around 5pm was when shit started getting sloppy. These Southern boys love their bourbon, and it was starting to show. Dark liquor hits me like a ton of bricks, so I usually stay away from it. Our tailgate spot was perfection. Everyone in the park was around our age....most were out of school. Cute cute cute boys. Seriously.

Around 7 we packed up camp and headed to TacoMacs, a bar near the Dome to catch the game and drink more. I was kept in a steady stream of vodka + tonics thanks to our bomb-ass waitress Tina. She's amazing, everyone. If you're ever at TacoMacs, get Tina. I ordered french fries and only ate about half. I don't think I had a solid meal that yesterday. I snacked on pound cake for breakfast, and some cheese straws at the tailgate.....and that was about it. I did force-feed myself a hotdog bun.

Alabama won the fball game, and we had a hell of a time getting a cab back to A's apartment. We were wandering around downtown Atl with the herd of displaced masses, and FINALLY found a cab. Praise Jesus. Then I slept on the floor in A's room, because there was nowhere else to go. Literally.

So now I'm back after my short little "vacation" to B-Head this weekend. Ready to relax and detox. Such a fabulous weekend! Roll Tide!

(some) Drugs Are Bad, Mmmkay? A Pictoral Lesson:

This is a lesson in reverse.

before (obv on sh*t):

after:

What have we all learned here today?

*disclaimer: I would like the state for the record I am fully attracted to all manifestations of this man. 70s mustache, coked-out skinny weird hair phase, and this latest SEXY ASS GRANOLA BEARD phase. Thank you for your time & attention.

Don't EVEN Call Me a Recessionista

Ugh. So i'm obv not impoverished, but it's how I feel at the moment.

I'm currently an unpaid intern at a fabulous Marketing Agency. However my darling parents informed me I was being cut-off on my birthday, which is in approx 2.5 months. So I will not be purchasing the Louis Vuitton bag I had previously died over. I'm going to ........*gulp*.............save..............my graduation money, until my employment situation is more stable.
Gross. Fiscal Responsibility is too disgusting for words right now. The really sad part is, everyone else thinks I should save it too. I just need ONE person to support me and say, "Go E! Go buy your Louis Vuitton! Hold your head high knowing you're a walking contradiction....an unpaid intern with a fabulous bag! Do it!" But no one is saying that. Maybe I need to find new, irresponsible friends.

Speaking of employment situations, I humbled myself and went trolling for part time jobs to, as my parents put it, "contribute" to supporting myself. I don't even want to talk about it. I came home with a migraine.

Anticipating, Waiting

Ohh Wednesday. Hump Day?

Alright. Dreary morning, as it has been the last 3 mornings now. Dreary morning that turns into a dreary day. Doesn't bother me too much, except some mornings on my drive in, all I want to do is turn around and stay in bed watching shows on Bravo all day.

So last night we had a fabulous dinner at Pozole in the Highlands for A's bday. I had friend shrimp tacos which were dece. Before dinner I killed some time in Lenox....bought some nail polish and cheapy sunnies à la Rachel Zoe, who happens to be my current life idol. I also paid the Ralph Lauren store a visit. A woman in there said she liked my earrings, holla.
Then I went and played in Louis Vuitton. There may be a new addition to my family in the form of a Louis purchase. I'll keep you updated.

Dinner was so much fun. There was a male med student sitting near us who we all were shamelessly eyeing. The boy from B-Head will be going out of town this weekend, and will thusly be missing all of our tailgating shenigans. So his loss.

Happy Hour after work! Weekend plans in the next post...

keep it real everyone
